As a designer for over 25 years, I have had the joy of working with Ed on numerous projects. To meet Ed is to love Ed...he is a breath of fresh air and my most favorite artist to introduce to clients. Inevitably, his fixtures become the memory point of any project I have worked on. We've done everything from ceiling light fixtures, wall-mounted fixtures, lamps, and mailboxes to turtles. You would think that with his talent and a portfolio that spans the world, Ed would be a little full of himself. Instead, what you get is one of the funniest, most down-to-earth artists that I have ever met.
I'm a grateful and proud owner of Ed's pieces. They give off an essence of magic and bring me joy. He is an amazing and inspirational artist. It was a wonderful experience from inception to install! I look forward to working with him again.
Ed Koehler designed two chandeliers and a lighted wall piece that transformed our lanai to one the the most stunning areas of home. We saw a similar piece in his studio and he customized all three pieces to fit our larger area perfectly. Later, we found a piece he designed for a kitchen area and once again the designed a chandelier to cover the inset ceiling above the island. This ince piece gave our kitchen the elegance it lacked. Any one of Ed's pieces have the ability to add pop and elegance to the room they inhabit.
FATE was prominent in finding you. Having an eclectic taste in decorating, many of the usual recommendations for lighting and decorating just weren't up to my standards at all.
Then! Leafing through a Naples design magazine, I saw your ad for many of your outstanding, one-of-the-kind art pieces that went from dramatic lighting to your creative takes on chairs and wallhangings and railings, and more! You now have made so many pieces for us, we have a whole home full of Koehler Originals!
