I have always loved alligators. I grew up in the keys and we had a local one name George. One day someone was feeding him scrapes of fish and George leaped up to get the scrapes and bit a man. The game warden caught him later and tagged him..number 95. And transported him up to the Everglades. With in a year he was back in Big pine key . George had navigated over70 miles to come home…we were all impressed ! I go to a alligator farm in south Florida and I roll out the frozen skins. Look for ones that have a good contrasting color . Tan them my self and purchase the shoes and have my shoe Cobbler sew them on. I love the simplicity and nature colors of alligator hide. Hope you do too !
